The Gap

The gap is a breach or violation many times from the people responsible for our well being and safety. Abuse finds its victim in schools, sleepovers, boys and girls clubs, playgrounds, churches and broken/dysfunctional homes. Trapped in silence for years well over into adulthood the quality of life can become debilitating and unproductive. Most victims suffer with tremendous anger, un-forgiveness, bitterness, loss of identity and rebellion toward God and authority. Sadly, the cycle is repeated and the very people that were abused have now become abusers themselves and still long for acceptance and normalcy. The journey to healing and transformation begins by finding our true identity and acknowledging the truth: True identity is found in Jesus Christ and Him alone, then we are able to turn trauma into triumphant victory.
